Our Process

Every project is unique, with distinct organisational goals, requirements, and spatial limitations. Each project also comes with a budget, a timeline, and various other factors to consider. While the specifics may differ for every project, our approach to addressing your requirements and achieving exceptional project outcomes remains consistent.

1. Concept Design

We begin by discussing your organization’s spatial needs and constraints, followed by a site visit to better understand your vision. We then craft a presentation that includes an initial high-level brief and concept design. This helps identify optimal floor space utilization, promoting efficiency, natural light, acoustics, and collaboration.

2. Detailed Brief

Building upon the concept design and your feedback, we create a comprehensive briefing that outlines specific requirements. This includes detailed BCA-compliant floor plans, builders’ work requirements, and potential furniture and fixture ideas. We can also provide an indicative budget and timeline at this stage.

3. Return Brief

Refinement Further refining the brief based on your input, we ensure all changes are captured within the scope of works. This results in a refined project program and budget summary for the entire design, build, and fitout process.

4. Approvals

We collaborate with you to finalise the scope of works, timings, and any potential impacts. If needed, we develop strategies for relocation or churn to minimize disruptions. Once you’re satisfied and give the go-ahead, we’re set to proceed.

5. Project Delivery

Upon brief approval, we finalise floor plans into Working Drawings, commence the permits process, develop a Project Program, and ensure contractors adhere to OH&S standards. Regular progress updates keep you informed every step of the way.

6. Variations & Project PC

During the project, we accommodate variations with your approval. We maintain our commitment to on-time delivery, clearly communicating any potential impacts from variations.

7. Project Handover

This exciting phase involves a walkthrough of the completed project, addressing any minor defects. We also offer professional photography services to capture the space’s essence.

7.1. Handover Pack

Upon project completion, we provide a handover pack, including essential documents and certificates, along with operations and maintenance manuals.

7.2. Post Occupancy Review (optional)

Our expertise extends beyond completion. We can conduct Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) Reviews to refine and improve spaces even after initial occupancy, or as a lessons learnt for future projects within your organisation.
