Meet the Visionary Behind F4P – Matt Alexander

With 15 years of unwavering dedication to fitouts, Matt Alexander, the Founding Director of F4P, brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His journey includes senior management roles with global fitout giants like Steelcase and Haworth, along with a productive 7-year tenure at RMIT University, where he lead the transformation of RMIT’s campuses.

Matt’s true passion lies in crafting exceptional classroom and office furniture fitouts. He thrives on elevating work and education environments, enhancing the end-user experience, and orchestrating seamless negotiations with contractors – akin to a skilled broker. Witnessing projects transform into vibrant, inviting spaces is his ultimate satisfaction.

During his Senior Manager role at RMIT’s Property division, Matt orchestrated a campus-wide transformation. His leadership led to the revamping of numerous classrooms, lecture theaters, study lounges, libraries, outdoor areas, sports facilities, and office spaces.

Adding to his repertoire, Matt spearheaded the creation and implementation of RMIT’s furniture guideline. His commitment to sustainability fueled the development of a process for storing and repurposing second-hand furniture, both offline and online.

Matt’s client roster reads like a who’s who, featuring prominent names like RMIT, Murdoch and LaTrobe Universities, NAB, ANZ, BHP, CSR and Telstra. His extensive experience also includes years spent in the employ of the world’s two largest office furniture companies.
